How we built WeynOn: A Privacy-First Social Network

WeynOn is a social media platform designed with the primary goal of safeguarding user privacy while facilitating minimalistic and meaningful social interactions. This innovative app aims to reduce screen time and enhance user interactions without compromising privacy.

Finding Friends and Creating Circles: Simplified connectivity that allows users to find and group friends with ease, promoting real-life interactions through designated friend circles.
Posts and Timed Sharing: Users can share moments via posts that disappear after a set time, emphasizing the app's focus on ephemeral, meaningful content.
Event-Specific Chats: For every post or event, a separate chat room is created, enabling private and focused discussions.
Private Chats: Dedicated chat functionality for private conversations, ensuring user conversations remain confidential and secure.

Advanced security measures such as end-to-end encryption and minimal data retention strategies were integrated to protect user information and interactions within the app.

Iterative testing was conducted to ensure privacy standards and usability, with feedback loops used to refine the application ahead of its public release.
